Graduate Courses

GSWS 2252, "Theories of Gender and Sexuality" is our core course and is generally offered once or twice per year. Students in the Certificate programs are required to take this course, and the course is open to students not enrolled in the Certificate program wishing to take a course on gender/sexuality. The course is ideal for grad students who wish to gain an interdisciplinary understanding of key issues and concepts in gender, sexuality, and women's studies. Because gender and sexuality permeate all areas of teaching and research, we welcome all students from all academic departments!

GSWS offers 2-3 topics courses each year, including Queer Theory, Masculinities in Theory and Practice, Gender/Ethics/the Body, Feminist Theory, Gender and the Global, etc.

See the Arts & Sciences course-listing page for cross-listed courses for the current term. Old cross-listed courses are listed under the "Resources" tab on our website
