Orlando Tragedy

Dear Friends: On behalf of GSWS, I send our condolences to all those who lost someone in Orlando this weekend. For those of us who are spending our lives teaching and researching in LGBTQ studies and in diversity studies more broadly, we will do what we can to contribute to creating another kind of world than the one we have read about this weekend: we will teach and do our research a little bit harder. We will continue to create safe spaces where students can read about, write about, and discuss gender and sexuality.
