Visiting Instructorships in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Application Deadline

February 10, 2014 - 5:00pm

Each year, the Program hires advanced graduate students or recent PhD’s as visiting instructors or visiting lecturers to teach undergraduate courses, including the introductory course, Introduction to Feminist Theory, Queer Theory, or others. Visiting instructors teach 2 courses per term, and visiting lecturers 3 courses per term. These positions are not TF’s-ships and do not include tuition, but include benefits. Students must be enrolled in the certificate program to be eligible (or have completed the certificate). Interested students may contact the Program Director at the end of fall semester or in January for further information.

Instructors will have responsibility for designing a syllabus and implementing each course, in consultation with a faculty mentor and within curricular parameters set by the Program. Details about current and past courses, including syllabi, are available on the Program website.
