Karen Lillis writes about women, artists, and other outsiders in fiction and nonfiction. She is the author of four books of fiction, most recently, WATCH THE DOORS AS THEY CLOSE (Spuyten Duyvil Novella Series, 2012). Novelist Jesus Angel Garcia has said about the book, "Similar to Marguerite Duras' penetrating character studies, this novella feels both strange and brutally candid."

Ocean Capewell is the creator of the long-running zine "High On Burning Photographs," and has been involved with zines since the Riot Grrl '90s. In compelling prose, she writes dispatches from young, queer America. She recently completed her first novel, "The Most Magnificent Rot," a queer punkhouse tour de force, and is currently finishing a memoir about gender perceptions.
