Objective: This presentation aims to introduce the key aspects of the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies program at Pitt. We will outline our overall mission, theoretical approaches to gender and sexuality studies, undergraduate and graduate curriculum, and faculty research agendas. The session is meant to help create a dialogue between work on gender in medical research and in the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. Interactive discussion will be an important part of the session.
