Johnson Institute for Responsible Leadership, Graduate School of Public & International Affairs

Join Johnson Institute Leadership Portfolio Program students in a forum about pay equity between men and women. Ms. Outon, founder of the 74% Kitchen Cabinet, will share the findings of the 74% Research Project into the nonprofit leader gender wage gap. Dr. Babcock, author of Women Don’t Ask, will discuss women and negotiation. We invite you to come for a morning of thoughtful discussion about pay inequity and the tools and strategies needed to promote change.

Karen Lillis writes about women, artists, and other outsiders in fiction and nonfiction. She is the author of four books of fiction, most recently, WATCH THE DOORS AS THEY CLOSE (Spuyten Duyvil Novella Series, 2012). Novelist Jesus Angel Garcia has said about the book, "Similar to Marguerite Duras' penetrating character studies, this novella feels both strange and brutally candid."

Reading & Talk by Oonya Kempadoo

Oonya Kempadoo is the author of Buxton Spice and Tide Running (for which she has recently completed a screenplay).  She has won the Casa de las Américas Prize, and was named a "Great Talent for the 21st Century" by the Orange Prize judges. She was a fellow at the International Writer's Program at the University of Iowa in 2011.
